Study Description: This project aimed to identify the facilitators and barriers to COVID-19 and Influenza vaccine uptake, as well as the factors influencing potential participation in future intervention research among underserved adult populations in San Diego county. This study originally included an intervention component which was removed due to several major logistical, and participant challenges in order to continue to enroll participants to complete the study survey and gain valuable information about the factors that can facilitate recruitment of study participants into future interventions studies. For example, questions were added to the survey regarding reasons why potential participants would or not participate in future interventions. This information will inform the development of future vaccination intervention studies.
